Frequently Asked Questions

do i need to book a consultation before booking a permanent cosmetic appointment?

The only time I require a consultation prior to booking an appointment is if you:

  1. Have previous permanent makeup.

  2. Are unsure if Permanent Makeup is for you.

If you don’t fall into these 2 categories, then I will have your consultation at the beginning of your actual scheduled appointment. Please know if you decide, during your consultation, that you want to move forward, you will most likely have to schedule your appointment for another day.

How long is the procedure?

Each service takes a different time to complete but on average, you are looking at 2 hours for Microblading and 2.5-3 hours for Microshading (Combo Brows) from start to finish. This includes your consultation, brow mapping, numbing, photos, and service.

Do I need to put numbing on before my appointment?

No. I’d prefer you to arrive just as you are. Putting on any numbing prior to your appointment can actually hurt your service since it can alter your skin texture and work against you. But don’t worry! I WILL use numbing products so you can be as comfortable as possible throughout the entire appointment.

Will it hurt?

Everyone’s pain tolerance is different but I use numbing products before and during your appointment to keep any pain as minimal as possible. Just know that I had this done years ago without numbing and I would never wish that pain onto anyone…not to mention, I’m a pain baby! Don’t worry, you’ll enjoy your appointment.

how often do i have to get touchups?

Again, everyone is different. Their skin texture, skin health, lifestyle, age, etc. so this plays into the overall lifespan of your Permanent Makeup. On average, you can expect to come back every 12-18 months to refresh your shape and color. If you have oily or very dry skin, you may need to come in earlier. If you have more mature or normal skin, you can expect to come in right at 18 months and even to 2 years.
