Does Permanent Eyeliner hurt?
A topical numbing product is used to help keep you comfortable throughout the procedure. Everyone’s sensitivity is different, but most clients find the process very tolerable. You may feel light pressure, vibration or a tickling sensation along the lash line.
How long does Permanent Eyeliner last?
Permanent eyeliner can last for several years, although the color will gradually soften and fade over time. Longevity varies depending on your skin, lifestyle, sun exposure, skincare routine and individual pigment retention. A color refresh can be performed when you’re ready to restore the definition.
What should I expect during the healing process?
Your eyeliner may initially appear darker or more defined than the final healed result. Mild swelling or tenderness can also occur following the procedure. As the area heals, the color will soften and settle into a more natural appearance. Detailed aftercare instructions will be provided so you know exactly what to expect during healing.
Do I need a follow-up appointment?
Yes. A follow-up appointment allows us to evaluate how the pigment healed and was retained, perfect any areas that healed lighter and make adjustments if needed. Because every person heals differently, this appointment is an important part of achieving the best finished result.
